Castellucci Hospitality Group to Join the Market

ATLANTA: Paces Properties announced this morning that an agreement has been made with the Castellucci Hospitality Group to join the award-winning, intown market with a brand new, full service anchor restaurant. The yet-to-be-named concept will replace the recently shuttered Cockentrice restaurant and bar.

“After Friday’s news regarding the closing of The Cockentrice we received an influx of calls about the restaurant space. We began looking at those inquiries because we knew we didn’t want this to be empty for long,” said Merritt Lancaster a Principal of Paces Properties. “Federico and his team had reached out some time ago, but we didn’t have any anchor restaurant opportunities at that time. They connected with us again and thus timing is everything.”

Both Paces Properties and Castellucci Hospitality Group moved quickly to come to an agreement for CHG to lease the 3,440 sf restaurant and patio space as of December and begin build out.

“Krog Street Market has been a great success since it’s opening, and we are very excited to bring a new restaurant concept to the market that will fit appropriately into the current dining landscape.  As with all of our restaurants we aim to create unique dining experiences that offer compelling food and sincere hospitality.  I feel KSM is an ideal environment for us to further our brand in a neighborhood we’ve always admired,” added Federico Castellucci III, President of Castellucci Hospitality Group.

Details about the restaurant concept and name will be shared over the coming months. Castellucci Hospitality Group is targeting a spring 2017 opening.
